Who doesn’t love chips and guacamole?! Inspired from one of my favorites, Chipotle’s Guacamole, I use this recipe with any Mexican fiesta!



  • 4 avocados
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 jalapeno
  • bunch of cilantro
  • 1 lime


*TIP: The trick to picking out a ripe        avocado.. you want the avocado to            be firm but give a little when you     squeeze.


  1. Halve the avocados and remove the seed. Place avocado in mixing bowl.
If you have a food processor, you can place all of the remaining ingredients
in the processor bowl.
2. Seed the jalapeno. Mince then add
to bowl.
3. Chop cilantro, add to bowl.
4. Juice lime into bowl.
5. Work with a potato masher, fork or
pulse if using food processor.
Tip for storing Guacamole:
Use plastic wrap to cover prepared guacamole, press plastic wrap to guacamole.
This will keep the air from getting to the avocados and your guacamole won’t turn brown!
